Once you reach mid game (for me that’s above HQ 18 or so everyone has a different idea of when that is) you will realize that you need to adjust the way your talents are set up to be most beneficial to you. In early game every talent point you had should have gone towards econ racing towards rapid development and the great construction and research buffs. when you get to mid game and people are attacking and your doing bunkers, facilities, trap and building higher level troops you will see a need for war talents. The main thing i can suggest is stack up on Talent resets from your alliance store (if you don’t have a lot of alliance currency your not donating enough, donate as often as possible so you can buy whatever you need whenever you need it). There are days i use multiple talent resets each day especially in fights where a lot of wounded is generated (bunkers, facilities, capital). Me I primarily keep my talents on Econ and switch to war for events or wars until late game (late game to me means HQ 30 making Tier 10 troops) after my chief has reached lvl 55. then i switch to war often to train troops because the troop training speed reduction you max out at lvl 55 is amazing and takes many hours off of troop training. (if you are in late game this is definitely something you should push for). You want to always fight with war talents on fighting with Econ talents is like fighting with one hand tied behind your back. How you distribute your points is a preference thing but i will tell you how i do mine. In Econ I always put all my points to gathering resources and nothing to settlement resources unless I am forced to. The bonuses don’t seem to help generate enough in my eyes i would rather have the big jumps in time reduction from gathering. As for war talents some people prefer health and lethality some prefer attack and defense. My suggestion is know your enemy. If you are fighting against someone with better chief gear then you (i will post about gear later) then you want to do attack and defense talents to make up that difference. If your fighting against someone with better hero gear then you then you want health and lethality to make up that difference. My personal preference is attack and defense and i use lethality and health on my hunters. My attack and defense i mainly use on infantry since they are the front lines and if they die your almost guaranteed to lose.
Please as always if you have any questions or i didn’t answer something or if i have something wrong let me know.
