Hero searches are one of those things that people tend to use when they get. For one that icon above the Hero Precinct never goes away if you don’t use them. However, my suggestion is to save them. This is another patience thing. Every so often an event happens normally a holiday or special event that gives you points for every search you do. I have seen people win this entire event solely off of the hero searches because they saved so many.
Hero searches give you a 3 rewards for every search you do both advanced and epic (epic giving better rewards of course). The rewards vary from speedups, to resources, to hero xp and hero frags. As of this writing they have not updated the hero searches to give you any newer hero’s frags. for Legendary that is Nikola and Maddie and for Epic heroes it is Chef, Eva, Sarge, Jane, and Mike and for Rare heroes it is Ghost and Dusty. Be aware that once you max out these heroes those frags become worthless unless at some point in the future they raise the hero cap or allow you to trade in for generic frags. (Here is Hoping)
